BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- MAPCO Express Inc. has forged a partnership with Innovative Beverage Group Holdings Inc. for the retailer to carry the beverage maker's drank line of products in all of its stores. This includes the original drank and the new Island Time offering.
"MAPCO prides itself on having a diverse selection of product for our consumers to choose from. We are excited about our partnership with drank and looking forward to providing our hard working customers with a little relaxation," said Damian Wyatt, MAPCO category leader for beverages.
"As we look at our growth strategy, it is imperative for us choose strategic partners that help give us better coverage in our key markets including North Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Virginia and Alabama. MAPCO was at the top of our list," said Innovative Beverage Group CEO Peter Bianchi.
Innovative Beverage Group recently launched drank Island Time, a new tropical blend, as part of its line of relaxation products. The Island Time marketing campaign centers around the trademarked "Official Product of the End of the World" theme, which has resonated with those who are following the Mayan calendar "end of days" theory in 2012.
With a slogan of "slow your roll," drank, a lightly carbonated relaxation product launched in 2008, uses melatonin, valerian root and rose hips to provide a relaxing effect.
