CHICAGO —Molson Coors Beverage Co. is eyeing new drinking occasions with its release of Vizzy Mimosa Hard Seltzer.
This is the fifth variety pack for the hard seltzer and features four flavors: Strawberry Orange Mimosa, Pineapple Orange Mimosa, Peach Orange Mimosa and Pomegranate Orange Mimosa.
Vizzy Mimosa Hard Seltzers have 100 calories, zero sugar and 5% ABV. The drinks are made with antioxidant vitamin C, fruit flavors and real orange juice.
“People are going to pick up Vizzy Mimosa for tailgating, backyard barbecues and brunch, of course,” said Liz Cramton, Chicago-based Molson Coors’ director of marketing for Vizzy Hard Seltzer. “It’s also unique because it provides a big opportunity for the on-premise. Whether it’s served at brunch, during patio season or at sports bars, Vizzy Mimosa lends itself to so many occasions.”
With the launch, Vizzy is kicking off a new North American marketing campaign called “Iz a Vibe,” which includes a pair of national TV spots, digital and social media and out-of-home and point-of-sale (POS) advertising. The TV sports are set to air during college basketball’s national tournament in March.
