SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Beverage maker Mood33 is launching a new line of hemp-infused herbal teas.

The beverages are infused with organic, U.S.-grown hemp extract and made with premium botanicals and real fruit juices. They will be available in the beginning of 2020 at convenience stores and other retail outlets nationwide, according to the company.

Six mood-specific flavors offer a unique blend of herbs and botanicals:

  • Joy: Peach and yerba mate
  • Energy: Raspberry lemon, guayusa and green tea
  • Peace: Watermelon, mint and basil
  • Wellbeing: Blueberries, reishi shrooms and hops
  • Calm: Lavender and chamomile
  • Passion: Passion fruit, hibiscus and lime

Each bottle of Mood33 provides 33 milligrams of full-spectrum hemp to support the body’s endocannabinoid system and bring consumers the “beneficial superpowers” of the hemp plant, the company said. The product is free of preservatives, artificial sweeteners or colors and is vegan and non-GMO. The drink comes in a resealable aluminum bottle.

"Our latest hemp tea product launch provides more inclusive mood-boosting options for customers nationwide,” said Mood33 co-founder Steven Kessler. “We have invested a significant amount of R&D into creating a clean-tasting and fast-acting hemp product that can be easily incorporated into a variety of dynamic and wellness-focused lifestyles."

Santa Monica, Calif.-based Mood33 is an infused-beverage brand. Its drinks are infused with synergistic herbs, botanicals and either THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana) or the full spectrum of cannabinoids, according to the company. More than 60 cannabis retailers in California sell the brand.
