VEVEY, Switzerland – The portfolio of S.Pellegrino’s Italian Sparkling Drinks is getting a new look and a revamped formula.
“It’s the same iconic taste we love from sun-ripened Mediterranean citrus, now with a simplified formula made with seven ingredients and no artificial colors or sweeteners,” the company said.
Transitioning from a traditional barrel, new packaging now features a sleek can, modernizing the product while reinforcing its premium quality and the brand’s Italian heritage, S.Pellegrino said.
“We have refreshed the Sanpellegrino Italian Sparkling Drinks portfolio to a deliver premium beverage option for consumers made with ingredients from natural origins,” said Thomas Conquet, marketing director for S.Pellegrino. “Still offering the iconic taste from Mediterranean citrus fruits, the simplified formula and modernized packaging design ensure this line of sparkling drinks is cohesive with our other stylish and sleek products in the S.Pellegrino family.”
The new packaging will be available this spring in stores in the following flavors:
- Aranciata
- Aranciata Rossa
- Arancia & Fico D’India
- Limonata
- Melograno & Arancia
The suggested retail price is $5.89 for a six-pack. S.Pellegrino in 2018 began selling its sparkling natural mineral water in a new can design. Last year it rolled out coffee-inspired flavors from its S.Pellegrino Essenza line.
Nestle S.A., Vevey, Switzerland, owns the S.Pellegrino brand. The company last year completed its sale of most of Nestle Waters North America’s business to One Rock Capital Partners LLC in partnership with Metropoulos & Co. Nestle S.A.’s international premium brands, including Perrier, S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, were not part of the deal.
