PURCHASE, N.Y. —PepsiCo has launched soulboost, a sparkling water made with fruit juice and functional ingredients.

Soulboost comes in two varieties, Lift and Ease, each with two different flavors.

Lift is made with 200 milligrams of panax ginseng to help support mental stamina, according to PepsiCo. It comes in Blueberry Pomegranate and Black Cherry Citrus flavors.

Ease contains 200 milligrams of L-theanine to support relaxation, the Purchase, N.Y-based beverage company said. It comes in Blackberry Passionfruit and Strawberry Rose flavors. Both beverages have 10 to 20 calories per 12-ounce can.

"With consumers today increasingly looking for convenient ways to support mental stamina and relaxation in their daily routines or find alternatives to alcoholic beverages—and the pandemic having increased people's overall interest in wellness products—we knew it was time to introduce a game-changing product," said Emily Silver, vice president of innovation and capabilities at PepsiCo Beverages North America.

Soulboost is available via e-commerce and in select natural retailers.
