LOCUST VALLEY, N.Y. — Regatta Craft Mixers added four new people to its sales and marketing departments.

Those joining the premium mixers company are Jay Li, marketing director; Max Shlansky, national sales manager for the liquor channel; Julie Zarou, field marketing manager; and Sean Chalker, area sales manager for the Southeast region.

“Together with senior management, Jay, Max, Julie and Sean are poised to execute Regatta’s future growth strategy and focus on navigating the challenges of the times as the country and the industry prepares to emerge from COVID-19 lockdown,” the Locust Valley, N.Y.-based company said.

Li recently worked at Anheuser-Busch InBev as a senior associate brand manager on the craft and imported beer business. He has experience leading challenger brands and national brands, and launching flavor and package innovations.

Shlansky previously worked for the Abita Brewing Co. as area sales manager, where he managed distribution and wholesaler relationships in a multi-state territory. He has also worked as a sales representative with Union Beer Distributors in New York.

Zarou worked at the Institute of Culinary Education before joining Regatta Craft Mixers. In her prior role, she managed corporate and press events. She also worked in account management at BBH New York and Ogilvy & Mater on accounts including Lipton Tea, Hershey and AIG.

Chalker was promoted from a sales coordinator role with Regatta. Before joining Regatta, he worked for Kiawah Partners in Charleston, S.C., as a graduate intern responsible for a range of projects.

Regatta Craft Mixers are made with natural ingredients—like pure cane sugar, organic blue agave, sparkling water and ginger—and crafted in small batches. Its products include Classic Bermuda Stone Ginger Beer, Royal Oak Ginger Ale, Light Ginger Beer, Dry Citrus Sparkling Tonic and Pacific Seal Salt Club Soda.
