POTTSVILLE, Pa. — A brewer and chocolate company are partnering up for the return of a limited time offer: Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter.

D.G. Yuengling & Son Inc., Pottsville, Pa., and The Hershey Co., Hershey, Pa., said the brew is available in bottles and draft throughout 22 states where Yuengling is sold. It will be available through Valentine’s Day.

The companies released the brew in draft-only form in 2019 across 14 states.

"Last year we were overwhelmed by the excitement and passion expressed by our fans for our first-ever collaboration beer," said Jennifer Yuengling, vice president of operations with Yuengling.

The beer has 4.7% alcohol by volume (ABV) and combines Yuengling’s Dark Brewed Porter recipe with the taste of Hershey’s chocolate.

"We're happy to work with Yuengling to expand the availability of the chocolate porter and, better yet the Yuengling Hershey's chocolate porter is available in bottles for the first time. Now our fans will be able to enjoy this one-of-a-kind beer collaboration in the comfort of their homes," said Ernie Savo, senior director global licensing with Hershey.

Yuengling recently formed a joint venture with Molson Coors Beverage Co., Chicago, to expand its footprint out West. Yuengling is the oldest operating brewing company in the United States. Established in rural Pennsylvania in 1829 by German immigrant David Yuengling, the company has grown to become America’s largest craft brewer, according to the Brewers Association definition.
