7-Eleven Carrying New Leaf Tea in Metro N.Y.

Product available in 280 stores through Manhattan Beer Distributors
NEW YORK -- New Leaf Brands, a wholly owned subsidiary of Baywood International, has announced that 7-Eleven is now carrying New Leaf tea in 280 stores in the metro New York area including approximately 180 stores in Long Island and 100 stores across Brooklyn, Bronx, Suffern and Queens. The product will reach 7-Eleven through Manhattan Beer Distributors, New York's largest beer distributor that markets beer and nonalcoholic beverages throughout 15 counties in the metropolitan New York area.

"We are excited at Manhattan Beer to extend our portfolio with 7-Eleven. 7-Eleven [image-nocss] is a great chain and we are now selling one of our top non alcoholic brands with the introduction of New Leaf Tea," said Bob McGetrick, general manager of Manhattan Beer Long Island. "We have done very well with New Leaf in the independent markets, and we expect solid results from this latest authorization at 7-Eleven."

Manhattan Beer Distributors directly services more than 24,000 accounts in 15 counties.

Founded by Eric Skae in 2004 in Orangeburg, N.Y., New Leaf Brands was created with the vision of providing healthy beverages for consumers that are great-tasting and made only with high quality ingredients. New Leaf Tea was the company's first product that was born out of that vision and now is available to consumers in 14 unique flavors and in over 8,000 outlets including restaurants, delis, pizzerias and other retail establishments.
