Circle K Adds Mellow's Day, Night

Will be available in more than 500 stores

VENICE, Calif.-- Through an agreement between Circle K, a subsidiary of Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., and relaxation drink brand Mellow Beverage Co. (MBC), Circle K customers throughout Southern California will soon be able to purchase eight new products.

"We like the early reception the brand's received throughout Southern California," said Mark Wright, Circle K West Coast business manager.

Kim Ourada, MBC president and chief operating officer, said that the addition of more than 500 Circle K corporate and franchise stores throughout California, Oregon and Washington "[image-nocss] represents a significant expansion of our retail footprintputting us in over 3.000 locations after just three months of being on the market. Earning the confidence of one of the country's leading chains of conveniences stores is significant, particularly as we look beyond Southern California in anticipation of a national rollout in 2010."

MBC's rollout has been propelled by its partnership distribution agreement with Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPSG), the country's third-largest beverage distributor, the company said.
