Everlast nutrition selects TNT to handle energy drink, snack, nutritional brands

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Vitamin Branding Corp., the New York City-based licensee, manufacturer and distributor of Everlast Nutrition products, has selected national convenience store broker TNT Marketing Inc. to represent its products nationwide.

Everlast Nutrition, referred to as sports nutrition for the couch potato, specializes in making nutrition simple to use and easy to understand. Offerings include nutrition bars, energy drinks, meal replacement liquids, and other assorted nutrition items.

TNT will focus its sales on 15 items [image-nocss] including SKUs from an Everlast sub-brand developed for Latino customers, whose specific nutritional needs and taste profiles have not been addressed within the nutrition category until now.

We believe our customer is disproportionately shopping in the convenience channel, and TNT Marketing has the strength to get our products in front of chain buyers and ultimately the consumer, said Brian Robinson, chairman of Everlast Nutrition.

Todd Ginley, TNT account executive for Everlast Nutrition, added, TNT Marketing is excited about growing this business, particularly among Latino consumers.

Since 1910, the Everlast brand name has been highly recognizable. Everlast Nutrition stands to bring many new customers to the nutrition category as a result, the company said.

TNT Marketing is an independent, national c-store broker based in Arlington, Texas. The company's c-store experts, the c-storologists, are industry specialists focusing on the needs of wholesalers and retailers. They identify items that sell in stores, offer selling strategies and provide access to brands including Arm & Hammer, Bayer, Dole, Don Miguel, Duracell, General Mills, Gillette, Mattel, Playtex and Trojan in categories such as automotive, confection, toys, HBC, healthy alternatives, grocery, foodservice, frozen foods and snacks.
