GLENDALE, Ariz. -- As CSP Magazine’s beverage editor, I must say something about the interesting lineup of beers Anheuser-Busch is displaying in our C-Store Product Gallery during Convenience Retailing University. Now, some quick research (Google) shows the history of some of these products goes back as far as 2011, but this is the first time I’ve seen them marketed in any major fashion to convenience store retailers.
First up are 8-ounce cans of Budweiser (Half Pints) and Bud Light (Azulitas, or little blues). As shown at #CRU14, these products come in 12-packs.
On the “better beer” side, the brewer continues to expand its Shock Top line, first by adding a Honey Crisp Apple Wheat flavor and secondly by packaging three of the flavors—Raspberry Wheat, Belgian White and Chocolate Wheat—into a Seasonal Variety 12-Pack. Each should be welcome additions to any healthy craft-beer set.
See photos of each of the above in the slide show below.

On another note, suppliers displaying their wares at CSP events typical get the opportunity to present their products to attendees through room deliveries at the sponsor hotel, and #CRU14 is no different.
