Daily's Picks Up Purple

Tennessee retailer adds Purple Stuff sodas

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Daily's Convenience Stores are now offering Funktional Beverages Inc.'s Purple Stuff Soda at all of its Tennessee locations. The Daily's Convenience Store chain is a locally owned and operated partnership between Kimbro Oil Co. and The Parman Corp. There are more than 100 locations throughout Tennessee and Kentucky and they are continuing to expand.

Purple Stuff Sodas is distributed by Lipman Brothers / R.S. Lipman Co., a leading name in Tennessee's beverage alcohol distribution market. Established in 1939, Lipman Brothers became the state's first [image-nocss] distributor of wine and spirits. In 1994, R.S. Lipman was formed as Lipman's distribution channel for beer, bottled water, sodas, mixers, crystal and cigars. Together, the Lipman companies service restaurant and retail accounts and function as an educational resource for both trade and consumer markets.

Darrell Duchesneau, CEO of Tomball, Texas-based Funktional Beverages, said he is honored "to have the distributor that launched Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and the heavyweight convenience store champion of Tennessee behind our Superliminal Purple Stuff healthy sodas."

He added, "Purple Stuff is a premium soda by taste and quality. It is also a healthy vitamin soda, and even a diet soda; since it has only 50 calories per serving. Purple Stuff is so healthy, that it is approved for diabetics. Purple Stuff is best known as a relaxation soda; and it accomplishes this in many ways. First: by switching from regular sodas to Purple Stuff, you just deleted caffeine and high fructose corn syrup from your diet. Feeling calmer? Next we have artesian water carrying anti-stress B-vitamins into your body and mind. After that, there is the fact that Purple Stuff only uses 100% FDA approved ingredients for use in food and beverages. These ingredients are proven to reduce anxiety without causing drowsiness."
