Dunkin’ Springs for Nestle Waters

Restaurants to exclusively offer regional spring-water brands

CANTON, Mass., & STAMFORD, Conn. -- From now on, when patrons of more than 9,600 Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins restaurants across the country reach for a bottle of water, they'll be pulling a Nestlé Waters product from the cooler.

Under the five-year contract between Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc., the parent company of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, the National DCP, the exclusive supply chain partner for Dunkin' Brands, and Nestlé Waters North America, the country’s largest bottled-water company, Nestlé Waters is now the exclusive bottled-water supplier for Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins restaurants nationally.

Dunkin’ Brands started introducing 20-oz bottles of Nestlé Waters North America’s regional spring waters, which include Arrowhead, Deer Park, Ice Mountain, Ozarka, Poland Spring and Zephyrhills, in more than 9,600 Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins restaurants across the United States last spring.

Nestlé Waters North America’s regional spring-water brands are the No. 1 spring-water brands in their respective regions. With the conversion now complete, customers across the country have access to their Nestlé Waters regional spring-water brands to complement their Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins foods.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Dunkin’ Brands to deliver refreshing hydration options to Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins restaurant customers across the country,” said David Hardie, national channel manager, foodservice, Nestlé Waters North America. “Water has become the beverage choice for many Americans, and bottled water gives them that option on-the-go.  Now, they can enjoy their favorite Nestlé Waters’ regional bottled water brand with their sandwich or snack.”

“By partnering with Nestlé Waters North America, we can offer our guests refreshing, high-quality bottled water that is sourced regionally,” said John Costello, chief global marketing and innovation officer, Dunkin' Brands. “We’re happy to be bringing our guests another great beverage choice from their favorite Nestlé Waters’ regional spring-water brands.”

"We look forward to working with Nestlé Waters to bring our members a quality bottled-water offering to quench their customers’ thirst for water," said Kevin Bruce, chief executive officer, National DCP, a member-owned purchasing and distribution cooperative for Dunkin' Donuts.

Nestlé Waters North America carefully sources and manages its regional spring waters, providing customers with quality-assured water in a sealed bottle as a thirst-quenching choice.
