Xyience bringing Dan Hardy to Vegas station

LAS VEGAS -- Xyience, makers of Xenergy, the official energy drink of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), will gives UFC fans in Las Vegas a chance to meet UFC fighter Dan Hardy. The British UFC welterweight will sign autographs for fans at Terrible Herbst gas station and convenience in Las Vegas on July 3. Hardy will be in Las Vegas to support fellow Xyience team fighter Wanderlei Silva who faces Yoshihiro Akiyama in UFC 116 at the MGM Grand, also on July 3.

At the signing, fans will get the chance to sample all of the Xenergy flavors, including the newest flavor [image-nocss] in the Xenergy Xtreme lineup, Orange Fuel. The first 50 fans that purchase a 12-pack case of Xenergy will receive a Xyience t-shirt and water bottle for Hardy to sign.

"It's not every day that UFC fans get the chance to meet fighters like Dan Hardy, let alone on this personal of a level." said Jessica Lautman, Xyience's senior marketing specialist, who heads up fighter relations. "With such a huge UFC following here in Las Vegas and Dan's growing popularity, we're sure there is going to be a great turnout and it will be an exciting day for both Xyience and for the store."

Xyience nutritional products provide "clean, sustainable energy" necessary for an active lifestyle, the company said. Established in Las Vegas in 2004, Xyience supports the mixed martial arts lifestyle.

Xenergy is a sugar- and calorie-free drink fortified with vitamins. All-natural flavors provide a consistent supply of energy, without the "crash" inherent with most other energy drink brands, said the company. Xenergy Premium flavors include Cherry Lime, Cran Razz, Mango Guava and Blu Pom. Xenergy Xtreme flavors include Orange Fuel, Lemon Blast, Citrus Slam and Cherry Rush. Xenergy is available in retail stores throughout the United States and Canada.
