SEATTLE -- Jones Soda Co., a leader in the premium soda category and known for its unusual flavors and branding, has announced the expansion of its natural soda line, Jones Stripped, into the Pacific Northwest, Texas and Canada.
The company launched Natural Jones Soda in California during 2013 to meet the growing demand for healthier beverage options and to expand the Jones product portfolio. After this focused launch, Jones Soda is expanding this product line.
The natural line now has a new name, Jones Stripped--"Stripped to the Bare Essentials," which more accurately represents the core element of the product and the Jones brand.
In addition, the reworked packaging with brighter colors highlights the 30-calorie count. Jones Stripped is sweetened with a blend of natural sweeteners, including pure cane sugar, organic agave syrup and stevia and will be offered in six great natural flavors--Orange Mango, Cherry, Lemon Lime, Green Apple, Huckleberry and Chipotle Pineapple.
Jones Soda has renewed listings with Whole Foods in the Northern California market, as well as other California boutique grocery chains such as Bristol Farms, Gelson's and Mollie Stone's. Jones Stripped will be distributed across the country by UNFI, Nature's Best and KeHe. In its home Northwest market, Jones Soda has secured the Pacific Northwest division of Whole Foods for all flavors of Jones Stripped and will be presenting the new line to other grocery and retail accounts. Jones Stripped will also be available in the state of Texas, initially through the HEB natural grocery chain.
Internationally, Jones Stripped will initially be rolled out to select markets across Canada.
