Schweppes Introduces Dark Ginger Ale

Line extension "packed with a refreshing, bolder taste"

PLANO, Texas -- Just in time for the holiday season, Schweppes is giving consumers more ginger taste with the introduction of the new Schweppes Dark Ginger Ale. Tapping into increasing demand for stronger flavors, Schweppes Dark Ginger Ale offers a bolder, darker and richer flavor experience while maintaining a traditional, refreshing ginger-ale taste.

"Ginger ale is a classic and favorite beverage during the holiday season, which makes it the perfect time to introduce the new Schweppes Dark Ginger Ale," said Scott Smith, brand manager, Schweppes. "Our goal is to give consumers more of what they already love by providing this refreshing option that taps into a growing flavor trend."

Schweppes Dark Ginger Ale is now available in 2-liter bottles at most major retailers in the Northeast United States, including New England (Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut and Rhode Island), as well as in New Jersey, New York and select regions in Pennsylvania. Additional package offerings of Schweppes Dark Ginger Ale will be available in Spring 2016.
