On the Saturday prior to Labor Day, Sheetz donated 10 cents for every cup of coffee sold to support MADD's sober-driver campaigns. Convenience store in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia participated.
Posters were on display in all Sheetz locations reminding drivers to designate stay sober on the holiday [image-nocss] weekend. This effort marks nearly 10 years of partnership between Sheetz and MADD.
The choice of donations on coffee is particularly to encourage nonalcoholic beverages for sober drivers.
