SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Impact, Stewart's Shop's new private-label energy drink, will be on the convenience retailer's shelves soon, but it is giving customers a chance to taste it before they buy it. Stewart's Shops is giving out samples at select stores, it said on Facebook.

Citrus-flavored Impact will sell carry the retail price of 99 cents for a 12-ounce can, it said. A six-pack is priced at $5.49, it added.

It also offers private-label candies, and as reported in CSP Daily News, the chain recently launched several flavors of premium candy bars (see Related Content below for previous coverage).

It is asking customers what other flavors they would like.
