TalkingRain Expands Executive Management Team

Names McClafferty as VP sales

PRESTON, Wash. -- TalkingRain Beverage Co., a market leader for natural water and flavored beverage products in the Pacific Northwest, has announced the appointment of Kevin McClafferty as new vice president of sales. McClafferty will be responsible for directing the growth and development of all company sales efforts.

As a career veteran of the beverage industry, McClafferty has been involved in all major aspects of account and sales team management. Before joining TalkingRain, he held a series of progressively challenging positions at Nabisco Food Co. that included territory [image-nocss] manager, product manager, regional sales manager, account manager and senior director of national accounts.

Following his 10-year term with Nabisco, McClafferty moved to Sara Lee Corp., where as vice president of foodservice sales he launched new products and developed new distribution strategies for the coffee and tea division. From there McClafferty joined WM Bolthouse Farms as senior director of sales in the United States and Canada which was later followed by his appointment to vice president of sales and marketing at Soma Beverage Co. where he was responsible for driving business growth objectives and annual sales revenue.

TalkingRain, Preston, Wash., distributes natural artesian spring water and flavored beverages throughout the Northwestern United States, with some product lines available nationally. The TalkingRain family of beverages includes actiVwater, twist, Sparkling ICE, airwater, TalkingRain Artesian Spring Water and TalkingRain Sparkling Water.
