Acosta Sales & Marketing Foodservice Division Growth Continues

Acquires Bay Brokerage, Encore Sales & Marketing on West Coast

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Acosta Sales & Marketing, a leading full-service sales and marketing agency in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, has acquired two western foodservice companies, Bay Brokerage Co. and Encore Sales & Marketing.

Integrating with Acosta's growing foodservice division, the combined organizations extend the coverage of the company's sales and marketing services across the West Coast.

Acosta entered the foodservice channel in March 2012 and since that time has steadily built a presence across the East Coast and Southwest with a series of acquisitions.

Acosta provides outsourced sales, marketing and retail merchandising services to more than 60% of the top brands in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. It has approximately 30,000 associates in more than 75 locations throughout the United States and Canada.
