PORTLAND, Ore. -- Boyd Coffee Co.'s growth continues with the expansion into a new market--Ohio. The move follows the company's expansion, announced in January, into the new markets of Atlanta and Orlando, Fla., its first eastern states.
Boyd's direct sales distribution (DSD) service now serves customers in 29 states. It provides personalized sales support, equipment setup and service, product delivery and marketing support to customers in segments including restaurant, hotel, casino and convenience store.
Boyd's products are also available across the United States and Canada through Roastery Direct Service shipment and through distributors.
"We're strong in the West, and we recently experienced incredible growth in the South. Expanding into the Eastern United States is the next logical step for our business, which is why we are moving into Ohio following our recent expansion into Florida and Georgia," said Greg Spady, vice president of DSD Sales. "We look forward to growing profitable relationships with our customers where they win and we win together. We expect these markets are just the beginning of our geographic expansion."
Established in 1900 in Portland, Ore., and continuously led by the Boyd family, Boyd's Coffee has always taken great coffee personally. It is the Pacific Northwest's longest-operating coffee roaster and North America's first certified organic roaster, it said. Boyd's also offers fine hot and iced teas, cappuccinos, frozen beverages and a wide variety of innovative beverage equipment.
