The Devils Went Down to Quick Chek

Retailer launches second annual Devils Night Out Sweepstakes
WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- Quick Chek, the family-operated chain of nearly 120 convenience food store locations throughout New Jersey and southern New York, has launched its Second Annual Devils Night Out Sweepstakes, through which one winner will receive a grand prize package of Quick Chek coffee for a year and the Quick Chek Devils Night Out Prize Package.

The Quick Chek/New Jersey Devils sweepstakes started in 2008 to celebrate the company's coffee, known for its 20-minute freshness guarantee, as the official coffee of the New Jersey Devils.

From February 23 to [image-nocss] March 23, Quick Chek customers are being invited to submit an original essay (200 words or less) stating why they deserve a "Devils Night Out." Using criteria including the essay's originality, creativity and compelling nature, each submission will be evaluated by a panel of judges including a New Jersey Devils alumni player; John Schaninger, the vice president of sales and merchandising for Quick Chek; and Tracy Burgess of WFAN Sport Radio.

One Devils Night Out Sweepstakes grand prize winner will receive free Quick Chek coffee for one year, dinner for four at the Prudential Center Restaurant with a visit from a New Jersey Devils alumni player, four lower-level tickets to the New Jersey Devils April 11 Fan Appreciation Day game, a VIP Tour of the Prudential Center and a New Jersey Devils autographed item and a New Jersey Devils gift pack.

10 Devils Night Out runner-up prize packages will include 10 vouchers for free Quick Chek coffee, two tickets to the New Jersey Devils April 11 Fan Appreciation Day game, an autographed New Jersey Devils hockey puck and a New Jersey Devils gift pack.

Those interested in entering Quick Chek's Devils Night Out Sweepstakes can submit an essay at www.njdevilsnightout.com or pick up a mail-in entry form at any Quick Chek location. Entry forms will also be handed out by the Quick Chek Devils Night Out Street Team at the Devils vs. Panthers game on Feb. 28, 2009. The Quick Chek Devils Night Out grand prize winner and 10 runners-up will be notified in early April.

Family-owned and operated, Whitehouse Station, N.J.-based Quick Chek's retail locations include 12 pharmacy stores and 20 locations with fuel.
