DOUGLASSVILLE, Pa. -- GoodWest Industries LLC has relaunched a line of dispensed cold-brew beverages. The company, a national provider of premium dispensed iced coffees and other coffee products, has retooled its Java Creations line to be made with 100% Arabica cold-brew coffee.
The slow- and cold-brewed coffee is available in several trending flavors, such as Black & Bold, Au Lait, Salted Caramel, Horchata and Cafe a la Mode. Java Creations offers a variety of ready-to-drink bulk dispensed cold-brew products in the away-from-home marketplace.
“We offer a great lineup of innovative premium cold brews aimed at the millennial consumer," said Rick Lawlor, CEO of GoodWest Industries. “Our on-trend cold-brew dispenser program is designed for operators to drive traffic to the self-serve beverage area, thus increasing their profits vs. a single-serve bottled offering, as well as grow foot traffic, and increased customer loyalty through our unique flavor profiles and broad product offering.”
Besides the unadorned Black & Bold offering, the drinks are made with all-natural dairy products and pure cane sugar. The beverages are shelf-stable for an average of nine months and available in 6-liter dispenser bags.
About 22% of consumers would consider buying cold-brew coffee at foodservice operations, according to Technomic’s Beverage Consumer Trend Report, powered by Ignite. Several convenience stores are already meeting this demand with cold-brew programs; however, it's not just cold brew that's cooling down the dispensed-beverage category. Iced coffee drinks have exploded on c-store menus, increasing their presence by 57% year over year, according to the Chicago-based data firm’s MenuMonitor.
GoodWest is based in Douglassville, Pa. The company’s dispensers are in operation in all 50 states and 20 countries.
