Heyman, Grimes Join Java City

Duo will further develop the company’s growing portfolio

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Coffee supplier Java City announced Steve Heyman and Vickie Grimes have joined the company to further develop its growing portfolio of national accounts.

Heyman joins Java City as vice president of sales. He comes with a wealth of experience within the beverage industry and will be responsible for achieving sales and profit growth targets for all Java City business units. Before Java City, Heyman was vice president of sales at Farmer Brothers Coffee Co. and vice president of sales at Diedrich Coffee. He also held positions in sales management at Atlanta-based Coca-Cola Co. and Pepsi Bottler Group.

Grimes joins Java City as director of national accounts: convenience stores. Grimes has extensive experience in coffee and convenience-store operations and will be responsible for the sales and profit of the c-store business unit. Before Java City, Grimes was director of national accounts at Boyd Coffee Co. and also spent time at Coffee Bean International as vice president of marketing. She also has management experience in her roles at Chevron U.S.A. Inc., ARCO am/pm and 7-Eleven Inc.
