Hot Stuff Taps New Marketing Director

Foodservice vet Nelson is registered dietician

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Hot Stuff Foods LLC chief customer officer John Barber has announced the hiring of Marie Nelson, a registered dietician, as director of marketing for the Hot Stuff Foods and Lettieri's brands. Hot Stuff offers turnkey programs for the convenience foodservice segment.

"In her role as director of marketing, Marie will coach and lead our marketing team to create revenue driving, national and local store marketing programs," said Barber. "In addition, with her added expertise as a registered dietician and marketer for the last 15 years, Marie will play an [image-nocss] instrumental role in maintaining the essential synergy between high impact marketing and high-quality products. Marie has served on numerous industry boards and garnered some of the highest honors in the foodservice industry."

Before coming to Hot Stuff Foods, Nelson was director of customer marketing for Marshall, Minn.-based Schwan's Food Service. Her position encompassed customized marketing solutions for all noncommercial segments and chain restaurants for the entire product and brand portfolio.

Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Hot Stuff Foods franchises or licenses its branded food concepts including Hot Stuff Foods, SmashHits Deli and Hot Stuff Food On the Go in more than 1,200 locations throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. Hot Stuff Foods also offers Lettieri's Food To Go through distributors across the United States.
