Karssiens Named VP of General Market Sales

Will lead Manitowoc Foodservice sales team

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. -- Manitowoc Foodservice has appointed Chris Karssiens to the new role of vice president of general market sales. The appointment took effect February 25. In his new role, Karssiens will be providing leadership and direction to the commercial sales activities across the United States including end users, buying groups, dealers, consultants and manufacture representatives. He will lead a team of regional sales executives representing the full Manitowoc portfolio of foodservice equipment brands.

He will report directly to Steve Beck, executive vice president [image-nocss] of sales, Americas foodservice.

Karssiens brings a wealth of experience to this position. He has been the executive leader for Enodis' Asia-Pacific operations since 2005. Under Enodis, he joined the company in 1998 as vice president of sales for Scotsman Ice Systems and has held key leadership positions including commercial president for Enodis USA, president of Jackson MSC and president of IOM.
