The five locations are Bristol Torrey Mobil, Flint, Mich.; Circle H Meat Market, New Orleans; Franky J's, Wadesville, Ind.; Tomboys Grille, Melvindale, Mich.; and Magnolia Discount, New Orleans.
The five new locations will serve the Krispy Krunchy signature menu including chicken, Cajun tenders, jambalaya, boudin bites (Cajun rice balls), [image-nocss] catfish and honey butter biscuits.
"We are tremendously proud and continue to be very excited about each and every opening," said Dan Shapiro, executive vice president of Krispy Krunchy Foods. "We are fortunate to have a unique program, one that makes it extremely easy for retailers to integrate into their existing setup and layout. And it doesn't hurt that the chicken is as good as it looks."
Chris Saroki, owner of Tomboys Grille, said, "We are ecstatic to be part of Krispy Krunchy and have more than doubled our daily food sales."
Rona, manager of another newly added Krispy Krunchy chicken program location, Magnolia Discount in New Orleans, added, "With our old chicken program, we sold four cases of chicken per week. With Krispy Krunchy, we did four cases the day we opened with them. We are now doing 40 cases of chicken per week."
