JONESVILLE, La.-- Branded chicken program Krispy Krunchy Foods LLC has opened additional locations at retail sites in Georgia, Tennessee and Mississippi in recent weeks. In Georgia, one location opened at the Shoppers Stop in Cusseta, and the other in LaGrange, at the Quick Check BP.

Jay Kalra, owner of the Cusseta Shoppers Stop, said, "The customer response has been great. They are delighted with the change. One customer said that word is out in Cusseta that Shoppers Stop has great chicken. That's the best kind of advertising."

The Quick Change BP in LaGrange said [image-nocss] foodservice sales that went from $200 per day to more than $750 per day since adding Krispy Krunchy. It reported an increase for the inside store sales, as well.

"Our chicken sales are good. The customers really likes Krispy Krunchy chicken," said Ron Singh of the Fill & Go.
