QuickChek Celebrates 50th Anniversary With 50 Promotional Items

C-store chain will celebrate with food, beverage deals through April

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- Convenience-store retailer QuickChek is celebrating its 50th anniversary by offering customers 10 weeks of five promotional offers each week. The promotions will be available both in-store and through use of QuickChek’s mobile app.

“We are thrilled to celebrate 50 years of meeting the needs of our customers,” said Dean Durling, QuickChek’s chief executive officer. “While we opened the very first QuickChek store on March 15, 1967, we feel our customers deserve more than a one-day celebration. We have 50 very exciting offers over the next two months covering our extensive menu of fresh food, beverages and on-the-go snack items that we’re sure you’ll enjoy.”

Each week, starting Feb. 20 and running through April 30, consumers can enjoy a wide range of food and beverage deals, including free coffee and fountain drinks, as well as buy one, get one free offers on QuickChek’s breakfast sandwiches, handcrafted subs, smoothies, freshly made hot snacks and packaged goods.

During the week of Feb. 20, QuickChek’s deals include buy one, get one free potato bowls and Gold Leaf tea through the QuickChek mobile app, and in-store specials include buy one, get one free medium smoothies. Additionally, QuickChek is marketing the 50th anniversary through use of coffee cups touting the milestone.

Consumers can access the promotions and savings at any of the Whitehouse Station, N.J.-based company’s 147 store locations throughout New Jersey, the Hudson Valley and Long Island or by downloading the QuickChek mobile app.
