Seven More Sites for Krispy Krunchy

Chicken program continues momentum

JONESVILLE, La. -- Krispy Crunchy Chicken opened seven more stores the week of June 13, the company said. Two stores opened in the Dallas market, which has its sights set on the Louisiana market, which is still ranked No. 1. One store opened in the Nashville, Tenn., market, bringing its total to 14 for the year, but the Louisville, Ky., market opened two locations to bring it within two stores of Nashville.

And two of Krispy Krunchy's "sleeper" markets opened stores--the Great Plains and Midwest markets each opened a store.

These openings bring Krispy Krunchy's total [image-nocss] to 146 stores opened so far this year, it said. That is an average of slightly more than six openings per week.
