ROCKLAND, Mass. -- A Tedeschi Food Shops in Marshfield, Mass., recently underwent a major renovation. The store, which features an expanded TD's Deli, now serves fresh foods and meats alongside its standard convenience fare.
Tedeschi embarked on an aggressive store-remodeling campaign in 2010, with the average reinvestment per store at about $250,000, the company said when the initiative was announced (see Related Content below for previous CSP Daily News coverage).
In addition to offering a variety of snacks and beverages as well as premium Green Mountain coffee, Marshfield's updated Tedeschi Food Shops sells fresh foods and produce and a selection of high-quality, all natural meats, smoothies and milkshakes made with all-natural ingredients are blended fresh in store.
TD's Deli, Tedeschi Food Shops' proprietary deli, has been upgraded to include new appliances and now offers an expanded menu including rotisserie chicken and wood-grilled pizzas and sandwiches.
The retailer has been offering $1-off coupons on Facebook for the rotisserie chicken, which regularly sells of $5.99.
The company held a customer appreciation event on December 16. A variety of activities took place throughout the day ranging from cooking demonstrations and giveaways to a live broadcast by local radio station WATD. The store distributed samples of beverages and snacks, and Santa Claus made an appearance.
