TravelCenters of America Looking for Best Servers, Cooks

Asking customers to nominate favorite TA, Petro employees

WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC, operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel center brands, is again asking customers to show what they value in a restaurant and the hard-working employees that serve them with the Best Server/Cashier & Cook contest. TravelCenters is asking all of its customers to help identify the best of the best by nominating their favorite TA and/or Petro sitdown restaurant server/cashier and cook.

"Our restaurant teams go above and beyond every day to ensure meals are served to order and guests feel respected and welcomed," said John Ponczoch, senior vice president of food operations at TravelCenters. "Many of our customers have asked how their favorite servers and cooks can be given special recognition."

Customers can nominate their favorites through Oct. 15, 2013, by completing the nomination form at www.ta-petro.com/thebest. Once all nominations are received, the company will post the top 10 servers/cashiers and cooks, and customers will be asked to re-visit the website Nov. 1- 15 to cast a ballot for Best Server/Cashier and Best Cook. TravelCenters of America will name the winners in December.

Whether it's the cook at the Petro Iron Skillet that specially prepares your favorite comfort foods, the server who calls you by name and always makes you feel right at home, or the cashier who invites you back with a smile, nominate them today!
