Unified Brands Appoints Business-Development Managers

The two will lead growth in separate branches of the company

CONYERS,  Ga. -- Foodservice equipment manufacturer Unified Brands has added two new business development mangers to its accounts team.

In Mesa, Ariz., Rachael Sassarini will cover the western territory, developing the company’s K-12 business. Derek Brodt will support the eastern territory from Orlando, Fla., building up Unified’s healthcare business.

While Sassarini joins the company from a medical device manufacturing firm, she has hands-on experience in the foodservice industry as a co-owner and operator of a family catering business.

Brodt has worked for Unified for the past few years, most recently as a production manager overseeing the Groen product line.

In addition to Groen, the company’s product lines include CapKold, Randell, Avtec, A la Cart and Power Soak. Unified Brands is an operating unit of Dover Corp. and is based in Conyers, Ga.
