76 Shows Customers Love With Collectible 'Thank You' Gifts

Chain holding Customer Appreciation Days in select U.S. cities

HOUSTON -- 76, the West Coast gas station chain and provider of high-performance petroleum products, is saying "Thank You" to its customers for their ongoing support and loyalty, it said. The brand is hosting Customer Appreciation Days at participating 76 gas stations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Ore., and Seattle, offering patrons complimentary gifts in appreciation for their business.

Anyone who visits a 76 gas station in one of these four cities will receive a variety of fun, collectible items including branded sanitizing hand wipes, 76 ball tire valve stem caps and reusable 76 shopping bags, while supplies last, with no purchase necessary.

"When we say we're on the driver's side, we really mean it," said Tami Walker, manager of U.S. fuels brand management. "We pride ourselves on caring not only about the Top Tier fuel that goes into every car that stops at our gas stations, but also each person behind the wheel. Our mission at 76 is to build customers for life, so it's important for us to continually recognize their decision to fuel up at a 76 gas station on a monthly, weekly and even daily basis. As a token of our gratitude, we're personally thanking these loyal patrons."

76 invites everyone in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle to visit a local 76 gas station on the following dates to collect their free gifts:

*Tuesday, February 28: Customers will receive a 76-branded packet of sanitizing hand wipes.

*Tuesday, March 13: Pick up iconic 76 ball tire valve stem caps or an eco-friendly reusable shopping bag that conveniently folds into the signature 76 ball.

With its distinctive red ball, the 76 chain--a brand of ConocoPhillips--provides Top Tier detergent gasolines that are sold at more than 1,900 U.S. retail fuel sites. ConocoPhillips is an integrated energy company with interests around the world. Based in Houston, the company had approximately 29,800 employees, $153 billion of assets and $245 billion of revenues as of Dec. 31, 2011.
