Find Out What C-Store Operators Think About Your Product

Enter your new product into CSP’s 2016 Retailer Choice Best New Product Contest

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. -- For every seven new product ideas, about four enter development, 1.5 are launched and only one succeeds, according to a Booz Allen Hamilton study. The convenience-store industry acts as an incubator for many of these success stories, and for the 13th consecutive year, CSP magazine is calling for submissions for the 2016 edition of its Retailer Choice Best New Product Contest.

CSP Retailer Choice Best New Product Contest 2016

Between now and June 24, retailers and suppliers can submit their choices of best new product in 27 key categories within the c-store industry by visiting www.cspnet.com/2016bestnewproduct to fill out a form, or by listing the company name and product with the hashtag #CSPnpc2016 on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

Eligible submissions include products available in c-store formats between Aug. 1, 2015, and July 31, 2016. Products nominated should show innovation, uniqueness and groundbreaking advancement in a product or service category.

You may nominate as many products as you like; each nomination is free.

“In today’s retail landscape, there’s even more of an immediacy to new products,” said Abbey Lewis, editor in chief of Convenience Store Products magazine. “Manufacturers understand the cut-throat nature of product allocation within the c-store. As the leading authority in the convenience industry, we’ve heard suppliers say winning CSP’s Retailer Choice Best New Product Contest is considered as validation of their new-product efforts, that their new has arrived.”

Following the close of the nomination period, retailers operating in the channel will have a chance to vote on the top three finalists in each category. Finalists are chosen by a panel of CSP magazine’s editorial team.

Winners will be announced during the NACS Show, with an in-depth story in the Dec. 2016 issue of CSP magazine.
