'One Idea Can Change Your Entire Business'

2013 Asian American Retailers Association show set for Sept. 12

GREEN BROOK, N.J. -- More than 2,200 retailers are expected to attend this year's annual trade show of the Asian American Retailers Association, scheduled for Sept. 12 at the New Jersey Convention & Exposition Center in Edison, N.J.

More than 150 vendors representing national brands and regional distributors will exhibit new and existing products and services. It is a buying show and admission is free. The tradeshow offers an opportunity to network with fellow business owners.

"The basic idea behind the tradeshow is to raise awareness among retailers about the market trends, new products and latest industry updates," said Vipul Patel, president of AARA.

"One idea can change your entire business, and AARA show offers retailer an opportunity for networking, and learning new strategies for their businesses," said Prashant Desai, the immediate past president of the Association.

AARA was founded in 2005 with fewer than 50 members, and has grown to represent more than 1,200 retail stores in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. It is a trade association that represents convenience stores, gas stations and liquor stores.

As an organization, AARA develops policy, creates economic incentives, communicates vital information, exposes new products and services and offers tools and strategies for retailers.

More information on the trade show is available at www.aarausa.com.
