South Side Market in Knoxville, Tenn., Adds U-Haul

Farmville, Va., station also offering rental supplies, services

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. & FARMVILLE, Va. -- Mohammed Islam, owner of South Side Market in Knoxville, Tenn., recently added U-Haul truck and trailer rentals and moving merchandise to the convenience store business.

South Side Market can now offer its customers a variety of moving equipment and supplies designed specifically for moving household furnishings, including moving vans, open trailers, closed trailers, furniture pads, appliance dollies, furniture dollies, tow dollies and auto transports. South Side Market also will offer sales items to protect their customers' belongings and make moving easier, such as heavy-duty boxes, which are made of up to 90% recycled content and are available in a variety of sizes.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Ashraf, owner of Third Avenue Market in Farmville, Va., also recently added U-Haul rentals and merchandise to his gas station/c-store.

Third Avenue Market can now also offer vans, trailers, pads, dollies, boxes and more.

U-Haul is a leading installer of permanent trailer hitches in the automotive aftermarket industry. The Phoenix-based company also supplies alternative-fuel for vehicles and backyard barbecues as one of the nation's largest retailers of propane.
