TA, McLane Renew Agreement for Supply-Chain Services

New distribution deal extends more than 10-year relationship
WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) has renewed its contract with The McLane Co. for supply-chain services to its 233 TA- and Petro Stopping Center-branded travel stores throughout 41 states. The agreement extends the companies' relationship that began in 1999.

McLane's 19 facilities will continue to support distribution of a broad line of products for TA. McLane provides for TA and Petro's large, well-stocked travel stores that offer a wide selection of beverages, snacks and travel products. TA and Petro stores offer convenience and variety to their customers [image-nocss] with a wide selection of gourmet coffees, cappuccinos and hot chocolates. Customers can also find features such as breakfast sandwiches, pastries and fresh deli sandwiches.

To better serve its customers, McLane has invested heavily in its end-to-end grocery supply chain by offering state-of-the-art logistics, data- and analytics-based merchandising services and cost-saving technology applications, it said.
