VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Winks Convenience stores are selling Neuenergy energy tabs, NeutriSci International Inc. has announced.
“Neuenergy has steadily gained retail traction and consumer demand over the past 12 months,” NeutriSci president Glen Rehman said. “This most recent distribution agreement further expands locations across Canada where Neuenergy can be purchased. Neuenergy is now available in convenience stores, grocery and specialty retailers across Canada. These diverse channels provide consumers local choices when purchasing Neuenergy, thus driving sales and increased revenue.”
Scottsdale, Ariz.-based NeutriSci specializes in nutraceutical products. It focuses on the convenience-store, drug-store, mass-market and supermarket channels.
Neuenergy contains a combination of blueberries (pterostilbene) and naturally derived caffeine, and it is designed to deliver “enhanced focus and mental clarity” with no sugar, no calories and no crash associated with some energy products.
Laval, Quebec-based Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. operates Winks, an affiliated retail banner program developed by Mac's Convenience Stores Inc. for independent convenience stores in western Canada. Since its beginning in 2003, there are now more than 600 Winks c-stores in western Canada and 150 in Ontario. Mac's developed Winks to assist independent operators to grow their business. It is a comprehensive program that balances the needs of the independent operator, the suppliers and the distributors.
