Cenex Store Wins Circle of Pride Award

United Cooperative Beaver Dam honored for customer service, cleanliness
BEAVER DAM, Wis. -- The United Cooperative Cenex Convenience Store in Beaver Dam, Wis., has been recognized by Cenex, a brand of CHS, as a Circle of Pride award winner. The award is given to the top Cenex-branded retail facilities for outstanding accomplishment in the areas of customer service and cleanliness.

The Circle of Pride Award Program is based on the assessments of an independent mystery shopper who evaluates nearly 1,600 Cenex-branded retail facilities. These facilities are evaluated on their customer service, cleanliness, and Cenex image elements. A rating of 98% [image-nocss] or higher must be achieved for the locations to be considered for the distinction.

"A few years ago, United Cooperative invested in a complete remodel of this Cenex store," said Brad Marthaler, store manager (pictured). "We now have an expanded cooler, three-door freezer, beer cave, extended product lines, new Cenex graphics, etc. Our employees were very excited about all the changes, and we continue to try hard to make sure everything looks its best and all the customers' needs are met."

Don Olson, senior vice president of CHS refined fuels marketing and supply, said, "Our commitment to exceeding customer expectations with well-managed, professional facilities and service is well represented by our Circle of Pride Award winners. They have shown their resolve to represent the great Cenex products and services to consumers through their outstanding efforts. We are proud of their achievement and are pleased to recognize their top performance."
