Chevron ExtraMile Goes to Disneyland

Game supports West Coast retail locations
SAN RAMON, Calif. -- Chevron ExtraMile has announced its new Take Off to Adventure game with Disney celebrating the relaunch of the Star Tours attraction at Disneyland. Beginning this week, every person who visits a participating ExtraMile location in California, Oregon and Washington can request a game card with two chances to win. The West Coast game runs May 1 to June 30 with thousands of instant prizes available.

Consumers visiting ExtraMile stores who play the Take Off to Adventure game can win one of two ways: Instantly in the store, by peeling back the label to reveal [image-nocss] whether they have won $2 ExtraMile Bucks for use in any ExtraMile retail location. Or online, with a unique code found on the game card to be entered atwww.extramilegame.com for a chance to win one of 12 grand prizes consisting of a Disneyland Resort vacation with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the new Star Tours attraction, or one of hundreds of first prizes, Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Tickets.

"The Take Off to Adventure game is an opportunity for ExtraMile to support our retailers, attract new customers and kick off the summer travel season at our locations across the West Coast," said Jeanine Rogers, ExtraMile brand manager. "ExtraMile is constantly looking for unique ways to help grow our business and provide value to our franchisees, and we are thrilled to team with Disney to offer a new and exciting opportunity to engage with our customers this summer."

The relaunch of the Star Tours attraction at Disneyland will feature an enhanced ride system, which is filmed and presented in 3-D, new destinations, and new and original characters from the Star Wars film series.

"We are pleased to join forces with Chevron in celebration of the re-launch of Star Tours," said Greg Albrecht, vice president of relationship marketing for Disney Destinations. "The experience continues the Disney legacy of fun, creativity and innovation and we look forward to sharing with consumers visiting ExtraMile stores this unique behind-the-scenes look at Star Tours, and all that the Disneyland Resort has to offer."

The promotion is exclusive to ExtraMile sites only. There is no purchase necessary; consumers can simply visit one of ExtraMile's retail locations to pick up a game card for a chance to play. The Take Off to Adventure game website is also optimized for mobile devices, so participants can play the game directly on their smartphones.

Launched in 2007, ExtraMile now has more than 500 retail locations throughout California, Oregon and Washington.
