Clark Brands, TransNational Forge Referral Deal

Petroleum prospects to be referred to Clark, nonpetroleum prospects to TransNational
NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Clark Brands LLC said that it has selected TransNational Processing Inc. as a referral partner to provide credit and payments services to nonpetroleum customers. Under the terms of an agreement signed in December, Clark will recommend TransNational as a payment processing provider to nonpetroleum merchants outside of the Clark footprint. TransNational will refer petroleum prospects to Clark for payments and branding needs.

Clark expects the partnership to allow it to broaden the services and value it provides to existing and future customers. This alliance [image-nocss] with TransNational will help Clark continue to provide its customers one-stop shopping for best-in-class branding and payments processing solutions.

"TransNational offers a full slate of payment products for nonpetroleum merchants combined with a level of support Clark is pleased to recommend. We know this partnership brings additional value to both our current and future customers," said Karl Goodhouse, president and CEO of Clark Brands.

"This is a clear opportunity for customers of both companies to experience more value from a provider they have already grown to trust," said Jae Haas, president of TransNational.

TransNational is a merchant service provider with corporate headquarters located in Rolling Meadows, Ill.

Naperville, Ill.-based Clark Brands owns the Clark family of brands. The company licenses the Clark gasoline brand and the Four Corners Coffee brand to independent petroleum marketers and retailers. Clark also processes credit card and payments transactions for independents in 28 states and the District of Columbia.
