Cardtronics’ new portfolio of ATMs in Corner Store locations in Canada will initially rollout with 275 machines and include expansion rights for future locations. As part of a separate agreement with TD Bank Group, Cardtronics will install TD-branded ATMs at Corner Store locations throughout each region, helping provide TD customers with increased ATM access in convenient locations, without ATM fees.

The world’s largest retail owner and operator, Cardtronics has been Corner Store’s sole ATM services provider in the United States since 2012. It operates more than 1,000 ATMs at Corner Store locations in growing markets such as Texas, Arizona and Colorado.

“Cardtronics has been our ATM service partner in the U.S. for many years, and we are looking forward to expanding this relationship internationally with our Corner Store locations in Canada. We believe these ATMs will bring value to our customers in Canada and will provide them with convenient cash access," CST Brands senior vice president and chief marketing officer Hal Adams said.

“Cardtronics is continuing to extend our presence in Canada, growing our portfolio of ATMs in desirable, high-traffic locations and connecting those retailers to financial institution branding partners," said Cardtronics executive vice president of global markets and accounts, Rick Updyke.

Houston-based Cardtronics works with retailers, financial institutions, prepaid card programs and their customers. It owns and operates more than 111,500 retail ATMs in United States and worldwide. Whether Cardtronics is driving foot traffic for America’s most relevant retailers, enhancing ATM brand presence for card issuers or expanding card holders’ surcharge-free cash access on the local, national or global scene, Cardtronics is convenient access to cash, when and where consumers need it.

Cardtronics Canada is based in Ottawa.
