Dash In, Cardtronics Renew ATM Agreement

Exclusive deal covers more than 65 c-stores in three Mid-Atlantic states

LA PLATA, Md. -- Convenience-store chain Dash In Food Stores Inc. has renewed its exclusive ATM services agreement with Cardtronics.

As part of the long-term renewal, which extends a relationship established in 2010, Cardtronics will continue as the exclusive provider of ATMs in 66 Dash In locations in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.

The ATMs are also part of the surcharge-free Allpoint Network, with 55,000 ATMs across the United States and internationally. Allpoint is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cardtronics.

“We believe this extension of our agreement with Dash In is a clear demonstration of the shared value of the relationship to both businesses,” said Jonathan Simpson-Dent, Cardtronics' chief commercial officer. “These popular convenience-store locations will go on enriching the Allpoint Network and Dash In stores will continue to benefit from the foot traffic generated by our market-leading surcharge-free ATM network.”

Houston-based Cardtronics provides services to about 200,000 ATMs in North America and Europe.

Dash In Food Stores is based in La Plata, Md.
