DRB Rolls Out Financing Program for Car-Wash Equipment

Upgrades totaling up to $250,000 could be eligible

AKRON, Ohio -- DRB Systems, a point-of-sale (POS) software company offering marketing and business solutions to car-wash operators, is working with equipment finance company Ascentium Capital to develop a customized financing program for car-wash business owners.

Existing customers of DRB Systems or Unitec who have been in business for at least two years and are considering equipment upgrades from a few thousand dollars to $250,000 are eligible for the program.

“Our financing program with Ascentium allows customers from both of our leading brands to easily purchase products with no money down while budgeting manageable monthly payments,” said Joe Shoemaker, vice president of marketing for DRB Systems and Unitec. “For our customers who have thought about expanding or upgrading their on-site experience through better automation, faster and easier customer processing or increased monthly plan sales, this financing option is a wonderful way to get the industry-leading products needed for the job without leveraging the business.”

DRB said in a press release that its payment structures are competitive, and the process involves a one-page application with most credit decisions within two to four hours.

One set of equipment eligible for the program is the DRB Systems Growth Suite. The suite includes DRB’s XPT Xpress Pay Terminal, the FastPass RFID system and the Automatic Recharge Module, a car-wash pass dispenser for automatic renewal of monthly passes.

“We’re excited to work with DRB Systems and offer our award-winning finance platform,” said Len Baccaro, senior vice president of sales for Ascentium Capital. “The specialized car-wash team at Ascentium is focused on providing solutions that enhance the profitability for our clients. It’s rewarding to see our organizations come together and develop a comprehensive finance program dedicated to the success of DRB Systems and their customers. “

DRB Systems, based in Akron, Ohio, provides tech and marketing support to car-wash operators. Offerings include turnkey car-wash solutions and customizable POS and tunnel control software. DRB’s sister brand, Elkridge, Md.-based Unitec, manufactures hardware and software solutions for the car-wash market.
