Excentus Expands fuelperks! Rewards Program

Adds online shopping, text messaging, more

DALLAS-- Excentus Corp., the provider of the fuelperks! Rewards program, has announced the immediate availability of fuelperks! Online Shopping. Now, in addition to earning discounts on gasoline by shopping at participating grocery stores like BI-LO, Copp's, Martin's, Pick'n Save, Rainbow and Winn-Dixie, fuelperks! Members will have the ability to earn five cents per gallon or more in fuelperks! Rewards for every $50 dollars they spend making online purchases.

More than 700 merchants are currently participating in the fuelperks! Online Shopping program.

fuelperks! [image-nocss] members may access fuelperks! Online Shopping by visiting the company's newly designed website at www.fuelperks.com. After logging in, an Online Shopping link will direct users to the fuelperks! Online Shopping site. Actual purchases are made through the individual online merchant's website, and the fuelperks! Rewards are usually deposited into members' accounts in three to five days.

Consistent with how fuelperks! Rewards are earned at most participating fuelperks! grocery stores, the $50 purchase amount threshold within fuelperks! Online Shopping may be met in single or multiple transactions. Some Online Shopping merchants offer increased earning opportunities (2X, 3X, etc.) which will help members reach the $50 threshold more quickly by doubling or tripling the purchase amount. For example, if a member spends $50 at a 3X merchant, they will actually be credited as if they spent $150 and will earn 15 cents per gallon in fuelperks! Rewards. Also, fuelperks! Rewards are stackable so there is no limit to the amount of discounts members can earn through Online Shopping.

In addition to Online Shopping, fuelperks! is offering other features to members through the new and improved fuelperks! website. Members can now link multiple loyalty cards under a primary member account and keep track of the fuelperks! Rewards they have accumulated and subsequently redeemed through the revamped Member account overview section. The website also offers enhanced mapping capabilities enabling members to find issuing and redeeming sites more fluidly.

Members may also receive SMS text messages with their account balance if they register their cell phone number on the website.

"We are excited about our new Online Shopping, mobile balance inquiry and member account overview features," said Scott Wetzel, vice president of marketing for Excentus. "Members will continue to see new retailers added to the program in the future, as well as other ways to save on gasoline through a mixture of on and off-line services. And we will continue to enhance our Member Portal by adding features that make it easier to track earnings, interact with other Members, and keep informed about special fuelperks! promotions offered by participating retailers."

Excentus is the provider of the patent protected fuelperks! Rewards Programa retail marketing coalition in the United States using fuel as the ultimate consumer reward. Headquartered in Dallas, it is a privately held company with more than 150 customers in the United States and Canada.
