CSPTV wins 2009 Digital Azbee for best trade show/conference coverage
OAK BROOK, Ill. -- CSP Information Group's editors were awarded gold from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) in the organization's 2009 Digital Azbee Awards of Excellence for best trade show/conference coverage, 2008 CSP Daily News CSPTV NACS Show Coverage.

National honorees include CSP Internet group publisher John Callanan; news director Steve Holtz; on-air talent Angel Abcede; and senior editor Samantha Oller. Additional contributions behind the scenes include Greg Lindenberg, online editor, and Angelica Krott, senior manager of design [image-nocss] and production for CSPTV.

"This is the second national award and third overall recognition of editorial excellence for CSP's online news products this year," said Callanan. "CSP's editorial and Internet teams continue to develop outstanding content both in print and online, and it's extremely gratifying that this team receives the recognition it deserves."

Since 2000, CSP's editorial team has received 34 editorial-excellence awards, including the prestigious Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awardthe highest honor for trade magazine publishers and editors.

CSP's editors were among several honorees at ASBPE's first digital-only national conference, held November 6 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport

Wheaton, Ill.-based ASBPE's annual competition recognizes the work by business, trade, professional and association publication editors and editorial designers in several regions and nationwide. Founded in 1964, ASBPE is the professional association for full-time and freelance editors and writers employed in the business, trade and specialty press.
