Offering 2009 truck purchase rebate program

KIRKLAND, Wash. -- Kenworth Truck Co. is offering a 2009 truck purchase rebate program with the Consolidated Buying Co. (CBC) and its petroleum hauler, private grocery supplier and agricultural hauler members.

The program provides rebates to CBC members on qualifying purchases of new Kenworth trucks ordered through their Kenworth dealer or bought from Kenworth dealer stock. Rebates are $1,250 for orders of three or more Kenworth Class 8 units, $1,000 for one or two Kenworth Class 8 units, and $500 for Kenworth Class 7 units.

"Many customers involved in petroleum, [image-nocss] agricultural and private grocery supplier hauling have purchased Kenworth trucks in the past under this Kenworth rebate program with the Consolidating Buying Co.," said Gary Moore, Kenworth assistant general manager for marketing and sales. "We're pleased to again offer this successful program for 2009."

Limit for a single customer is 10 trucks per year. The purchaser must identify CBC membership to the Kenworth dealer at the time of truck purchase. Kenworth will pay the first-year CBC membership fee, representing a $500 value, for any qualifying customer that wishes to participate in the rebate program but is not currently a CBC member. Other limitations apply on the Kenworth rebate program. See your Kenworth dealer for further details.
