MAPCO to Deploy TIO Bill Pay Kiosks in Tennessee

First phase of 37 units has been rolled out across Memphis, Nashville

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- MAPCO Express Inc. will deploy TIO Networks Corp.'s self-serve, bill-pay kiosks. The first phase of 37 kiosks has been rolled out across Memphis and Nashville, Tenn.

Under the agreement, MAPCO customers have the added convenience to pay bills using cash at participating stores with the option for same-day payment processing. Customers can make payments in English or Spanish with real-time processing and access to customer service.

TIO Networks, Vancouver, B.C., has partnered with a number of local and national billers including NES, MLGW, AT&T, Boost, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, Dish Networks and DirecTV, enabling MAPCO customers to pay multiple bills at one location.

TIO is a "cloud-based," bill-payment processor serving telecom, wireless, cable and utility bill issuers in North America.

"We're very excited to partner with TIO to offer our customers another piece of the full-service experience they've come to expect from MAPCO," said Tony Miller, the chain's vice president of sales and merchandising. "Giving our customers an easy, safe and convenient opportunity to pay a variety of bills was a no brainer."

"We're thrilled to enter into this partnership with one of the largest company-operated convenience store locations in the U.S.," said Hamed Shahbazi, chairman and CEO of TIO Networks. "TIO prides itself in providing the utmost in convenience and customer service to alleviate the stress many consumers associate with bill payment. Having bill pay kiosks at MAPCO locations across Tennessee makes it that much easier for customers to pay their bills on time."

MAPCO Express is a wholly owned subsidiary of Delek U.S. Holdings Inc. Based in Brentwood, Tenn., the chain operates 420 convenience stores in eight states.
