Mark VII Acquires Advantek

Opens direct operations in Ontario
ARVADA, Colo. -- Mark VII Equipment Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of WashTec AG of Germany, a leading producer of vehicle washing equipment worldwide, has announced that it has acquired the assets of former PDQ distributor Advantek Inc. and opened direct operations in Toronto, Ontario.

"They're one of the most successful carwash distributors in Ontario and have a reputation for providing great service to multi-site operators with different brands of equipment, which is a cornerstone [image-nocss] of Mark VII's strategy for servicing large accounts."

Founded in 1966 and headquartered in Arvada, Colo., Mark VII is a wholly owned subsidiary of WashTec AG of Germany, a producer of vehicle washing equipment. The combined companies have a global installed base of more than 30,000 units and sell a complete line of touchfree and friction rollover, self-serve, truck and tunnel carwash systems, as well as ancillary products and services. WashTec AG and Mark VII are not related to or affiliated with Integrated Services Inc., a U.S. company that markets a car wash controller product in the United States under the trademark WashTEC.
